  3. This zip file will allow you to upgrade v4.01 of PowerBBS
  4. to v4.02.  This is for *REGISTERED* v4.01 files only.
  5. (Please note that in the last day we distributed an A patch.  You will
  6.  need your ORIGINAL POWRBBS.EXE file from 4.01 to use this.  You can
  7.  reinstall 4.01 to get it if you lost it).

  9. To upgrade, copy the powrbbs.rtp file to your \powrbbs directory,
  10. and run
  11.  
  12. PATCH POWRBBS
  13.  
  14. to patch your POWRBBS.EXE file.
  15.  
  16. Finally copy the BBSCOM2.DLL and PTRANS.EXE file to your
  17. \Windows\System directory.  Thats all their is to it!!  If
  18. you have a problem Email James Carr on the support BBS for
  19. technical support.

  21. (If you are a registered TELNET/FTP user, rename the BBSCOM2T.DLL to
  22.  BBSCOM2.DLL and use that instead).
