- These docs assume you have a vague idea of how to run a door
- with your particular BBS system. This "should" be one of the easiest
- doors you have ever setup on your system. I can't make this much
- simpler. There is no configuration file and only one commandline
- parameter.
-
- The only files you need initially are "Story.Exe","Dorinfo1.Def",
- "Story.Ans". The door will make all the data files it needs.
-
- Step 1. Make a directory for the Story.Exe file.
- Step 2. Unarchive and copy the Story.Exe file to the directory you made.
- Step 3. Add a menu entry to run the door (and modify menu screens as
- necessary).
-
- Commandline Options:
- 1) *N for Node Number
-
- RA/QBBS Note
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- In your menu editor
-
- Command name : ^M^cstory Door
- Type Command : Type 7 exit
- Additional info : c:\BBS\Story\Story.exe /N*N *M
-
- Optional Commandline information
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- /D for Door.Sys reading instead of Dorinfo1.def
- /DEBUG for Debug log reports file name in form of debug01.log
- (Where 01 is replace with current node number.)
-
-
- Other BBS's
- ~~~~~~~~~~~
- Create the standard RBBS type "Dorinfo1.def" and run Story.exe
- from your system, or GAP style Door.Sys file too.

- ** NOTE OF CAUTION **
- ───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
- Note that this program doesn't check for the ole' 7 words your
- can't say on network TV. The stories are all ASCII text files
- and may be edited at your leisure with your favorite text editor.
- The list of titles is also an ASCII text file so with each title
- on a line by itself. Ensure you don't have any blank lines in
- the Titles file, it *WILL* mess things up.
- ───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
