  2. This ARChive represents a slight change to the original files.  This will
  3. hopefully clear some of the problems experienced by some modems.
  4.  
  5. NOTE: Some people have had trouble with their modems using ATA for answering
  6. the phone.  There is a change to the system that allows one extra line at the
  7. end of DRIVE.DAT.  Setting that line to NORING, will allow you use the
  8. autoanswer feature of your modem - either through S0=1 or a dipswitch setting.
  9. This line is not supported by the DRIVER utility at this time.
