- ■ Introduction
-
- One Liners Door has the capabilities to display user stats info, display
- and insert one liners, last few callers w/bulletin, and node status.
-
- ■ Installing
-
- One Liners SHOULD be run on logon. If you are running Prologon your
- prolon.cnf file should be something like this.
-
- D:\pcb\gen\doorsg. d:\pcb\gen\doors.lst **18 *1
-
- The "18" is opening door #18 which is the Oneliners, then defaulting to
- Prodoor. If you are running PCboard, simply make the ONELINERS entry in your
- doors.lst set for IN LOGIN.
-
- ■ One Liners
-
- The oneliners will be displayed with a header and displays x number of
- oneliners left by previous users and followed with a prompt that will let you
- enter one or continue on.
-
- ■ Last Few Callers
-
- We added the thing similar to telegards last few callers, except ours is
- better. It will read the caller # from PCboard and put a line containing the
- users handle, baud rate, node, and city. This can also be appended into a
- bulletin file as well. Here's an example of the line it will show:
-
- [12345] ∞ SkaTeMasTer & Helios from Harmony Skates at 14400E on Node 4
-
- ■ User Statistics
-
- A "User Stats" screen will be displayed before the one liners, the type
- menu follows along with the header you selected. If you don't like them, make
- a better one and we can add it. We probally will make a seperate choice of
- menus for the stats in the future. This can stopped from being displayed by
- saying NO in the CNF file.
-
- ■ New Users Waiting to be validated
-
- This will display users and their cities according to what security level
- you assigned in the config. This is OPTIONAL and can be made to show to every-
- one or made just you and your Co-Sysops. I find it makes the SysOp aware of
- the new users faster. I know I forget and take forever, so this should help.
-
- ■ Node Status
-
- If you system is multi-node a Node Status will be displayed as the door is
- closing.
-
- ■ New User Prompting
-
- If set to yes in the config file, this will display only a message saying
- that the system is reviewing his account still and weither or not he wants
- to hangup now.
