  8. Well, I wrote a simple utility (P2AG) to convert the
  9. description document of "Prosite" database in a
  10. helpful AmigaGuide hypertext.
  11.

  14.   1) Be sure to have enough free HD space (3.3 Mb!).
  15.      Prosite.doc is over 1.6Mb and you need other 1.6Mb
  16.      for splitting this big doc in over 700 files.
  17.      Splitting allows browsing the database without
  18.      loading the whole file in memory (!).

  20.   2) Type: "p2ag prosite.doc"
  21.  
  22.   NB) P2AG splits the doc in over 700 files.
  23.       The splitted files must be kept in a sub-directory
  24.       called "data" for correct database references.
  25.  
  26. Prosite is a powerful protein patterns database and
  27. when I'll have time enough, I shall code something
  28. workin' with it, that's a protein and genetic sequences
  29. analyser.
