  20.     Aminet CD 5 contains 1 Gigabyte of freely distributable software,
  21.     The newest file included is dated Feb 8th. The space is used as 
  22.     follows: (compressed, categories overlap)

  24.       450M of software newer than Aminet 4 (210M newer than Aminet Set)
  25.       180M of games
  26.        20M of top downloads
  27.  
  28.     These consist of
  29.       1400 tools
  30.       1000 games
  31.        800 mods

  36. ACCESS FEATURES
  37.  
  38.     Amigaguide based user interface, allows easy unpacking and viewing 
  39.     using a single mouse click.
  40.  
  41.     Extensive search facilities. Finds words in descriptions or readmes,
  42.     and outputs matches as an index that allows direct viewing.
  43.  
  44.     Special support for the following categories of files:
  45.  
  46.     - Modules. Can be viewed and played from an index that is sorted
  47.       by music style and subsorted by rating.
  48.  
  49.     - Images. Can be previewed in a database of thumbnail versions, and
  50.       a double click on the thumbnail shows the full size image.
  51.  
  52.     - Games. Can be started using a single click from an index that lists
  53.       all games that can be run on accelerated Amigas, with the best games
  54.       on top. Degrading software started as needed.

  56.     - Demos. As the games, they can be started using a single click.
  57.       Demos with a quit function are listed separately.

  59.     - Charts. A list of the most popular programs is on the CD, sorted
  60.       by category.

  62.     - Fish disks. You can find any of the programs on Aminet using the
  63.       number of the Fish disk it can also be found on.

  65.     - German files. A majority of the files on the CD, and all those
  66.       with German documentation have a German description.

  76.     - All Amigas including CDTV/A570. Not compatible with CD32 plus 
  77.       Communicator. Compatible with CD32 plus SX1. Not bootable.
  78.     - All Amiga OS versions for the access software. OS 2.0 or even
  79.       3.0 required for some of the direct viewing features.
  80.     - Readable by all operating systems, including MSDOS, OS/2 and 
  81.       UNIX.
