  44. 2) Sound Device Auto-Configure

  47. When EasyKeys is run for the first time, it gives you the 
  48. option of running Sound Device Auto-Configure before continuing. 
  49. It is strongly recommended that you run this test in order to 
  50. eliminate any possible sound problems which may occur.
  51.  
  52. Sound Device Auto-Configure is comprised of a series of 
  53. procedures which determine what sound device configuration is 
  54. best suited for use with your system. You can run these 
  55. diagnostics at any time by clicking on the 'Sound Device Auto-
  56. Configure...' button in the EasyKeys Global Options dialog. This 
  57. test gives you a quick and easy way to configure your sound 
  58. device for use with EasyKeys.

  60. If you change your system configuration in a way which may 
  61. affect EasyKeys, the program detects this and runs Sound Device 
  62. Auto-Configure again, automatically.

  69. The EasyKeys Setup program does very little in the way of
  70. modifying your current Windows environment.
  71.  
  72. An EASYKEYS.INI file will be created in your Windows directory 
  73. the first time you run EasyKeys. Additionally, the installation 
  74. adds a line to your WIN.INI file:

  76. jbx=C:\EASYKEYS\easykeys.exe ^.jbx

  78. The Setup program asks you to specify a directory where it will 
  79. then install EasyKeys and the following associated 
  80. subdirectories:

  83. . The STYLES subdirectory contains styles.
  84. . The WAVES subdirectory contains .WAV files.
