- Prelude is an adventure game. Sit back and enjoy the ride. Generally you can
- move north, east south or west by typing n, e, s, w. A parser tries to
- understand your commands but he isn't all that smart. He doesn't spelll very
- well either. You might have to try different ways of saying the same thing.
- The parser also reports your progress. Generally you can TAKE or DROP items
- that you come across. You can LOOK AT various objects for more detail. Other
- commands that the parser always understands include SAVE, LIST, RESTORE,
- RESTART, SCORE, WAIT, AGAIN, QUIT, INVENTORY. If, as a last resort,
- you need a hint, type HINT then do the following:
- SAVE GAME and QUIT. At the dos prompt, type:
- HINTS PRELUDE
- You can also type MAP PRELUDE.
- When you start the game, go south and ENTER the shack, to see whats
- available. In general, look at all of the objects at your location...
- sometimes things are hidden.
- Good Luck!
