  19. from the floppy prompt ( A:\> or B:\> ).

  21. Start the demo with Roland(R) sound by typing 
  22. "playfate" or "playfate r".

  24. You can force Sound Blaster(TM) or AdLib(R) sound
  25. by typing "playfate s" or "playfate a".

  27. The game is designed for use with a mouse,
  28. but the keyboard will work (turn CAPS LOCK OFF):

  30. Move the CURSOR with the ARROW keys.
  31. Press ENTER to LEFT-CLICK
  32. Press TAB to RIGHT-CLICK
  33. g = give
  34. p = pick-up
  35. u = use
  36. o = open
  37. c = close
  38. l = look at
  39. s = push (shove)
  40. t = talk to
  41. y = pull (yank)

  43. SPACE BAR pauses the game
  44. [ = softer sound
  45. ] = louder sound
  46. - = slower text
  47. + = faster text

  49. Sorry, it's not possible to make or restore save-games.

  51. Quit by typing ctrl-C, alt-Q or alt-X.
