  1. Unprotect 9.0 - Install instructions:

  4. Dear Unprotect user,
  5.  
  6. Thanks for buying our software package. We hope that you enjoy Unprotect!
  7.  
  8. This Unprotect CD-ROM includes an easy to use installation program that
  9. does all the work for you.
  10.  
  11. Please follow these steps to install Unprotect:
  12.  
  13. 1.) Put the 1st Unprotect CD in your CD-ROM drive.
  14. 2.) Open the Windows explorer.
  15. 3.) Change to your CD-ROM drive (e.g. D:)
  16. 4.) Execute the file "SETUP.EXE" from the CDs main directory with a double click. Ready!
  17. 5.) Follow the instructions from the install program.

  19. Unprotect uses the Microsoft Windows Installer for installation. If this is your first 
  20. application using the Windows Installer you'll have to reboot the first time before 
  21. starting Unprotect!
  22.  
  23. Unprotect is very easy to install this way, but for the worst case that our install
  24. program may fail on your system, we've included a simple INST_ENG.BAT program in the
  25. main directory of the 1st CD.
  26.  
  27. If Unprotect is installed on your system, you can install all (or some) of your favorite
  28. Unprotect module files from the Unprotect CDs to your installation directory too.
  29. This will reduce the need to insert on of your original CDs.
  30. To do so, please use the build in Unprotect Install Wizard.
  31.  
  32. To read the Unprotect 9.0 manual, the Adobe Acrobat Reader must be installed on your 
  33. system. The actual Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0 can be found on the 1st Unprotect CD. 
  34. Simply execute our setup program SETUP.EXE and click on the Acrobat Reader Icon to 
  35. perform the installation.
