  1. Wing Commander Armada: Patch 1.0.
  2. This Patch is being distributed free of charge.  It does, however, require
  3. the original Wing Commander Armada.
  4. This version of Armada is believed to be free of bugs. If you 
  5. find any problems please report them to the Origin BBS at (512)331-4446
  6. and we will fix them as soon as possible.

  9. Installation:
  10.     To install the Armada Patch just unzip the armpatch.zip file into
  11. your Wing Commander Armada directory, the run Armada.exe.

  14. Fixes:
  15.     Colorado Spectrum notebook support added
  16.         Notes: 1) Follow the instructions provided with the adapter to enable
  17.                     it.
  18.                2) type armada.exe -j to use the notebook gameport
  19.                3) The Colorado Spectrum adapter only supports COM 1 and COM 2
  20.  
  21.     Passwords for each gauntlet level 
  22.         Notes: 1) Passwords are issued after successfully completing a level
  23.                     in the gauntlet mode
  24.                2) Passwords must be typed exactly as shown
  25.                3) Will only work for Single player mode (ie: No Net or Modem
  26.                     gauntlet games will use passwords)
  27.         Usage:
  28.                1) To use the Password you MUST exit the game and run armada
  29.                        followed by the Password.  Ex: armada.exe -!PASSWORD
  30.                2) The game will start as normal, but you MUST go into
  31.                        One Player mode and select Gauntlet Mode.
  32.                3) Choose your race (ie: Confederation or Kilrathi)
  33.                4) If you typed in the password correctly it will tell you it
  34.                     was accepted.
