  3. New Features

  5. Each race has been made more competitive and finishes are much closer.
  6.  
  7. The following Hot-keys have been added for your convienence:
  8.  
  9. Alt-M -  Current player's available money         Alt-N  Next Player
  10. Alt-I -  Current Player's ID                      Alt-d  Date and race number
  11. Alt-P -  Print text currently on screen
  12.  
  13. EXAMPLE:
  14.      PRINTING THE TIP SHEET
  15.      Open the tip sheet to display it on screen.
  16.      Next press the Alt key in combination with the P key 
  17.      to send the on screen information to the printer.  
  18.      If a printer is not available, the print out is sent 
  19.      to an ASCII text file named printout.txt.  
  20.      Follow this procedure to print any in game document or 
  21.      monitor screen.  This includes: the Post Race Monitor, 
  22.      Jockey Report, Trainer Report, Race Day, Pre-race
  23.      Monitor,Condition Book, and Stable Report.

  25.      PRINTING THE PROGRAM
  26.      Open the Daily Racing Program to display it on screen. 
  27.      Press the Alt key in combination with the P key to start printing. 
  28.      To specify a particular race to print, press the F1-F10 keys 
  29.      (where F1-F10 correspond to the race number) immediatley following
  30.      Alt-P.

  32. Program Enhancements

  34. The added overhead view allows players see the position of all horses 
  35. during race.
  36.  
  37. Condition book changes were made allowing more races for three year olds
  38. and shorter races for younger two year olds.
  39.  
  40. The ability to enter horses into a race which is more than a month away has
  41. been added, and the secretary now correctly validates a horse's race 
  42. qualifications.
  43.  
  44. The likelyhood of obtaining a desired jockey has been increased.
  45.  
  46. Apprentice jockeys allow trainers to reduce weight carried by their horse.
  47.  
  48. Betting large sums of money now return the correct payoff.
  49.  
  50. The problems with the Sound Blaster 16 and other sound cards 
  51. has been resolved.

  53. MANUAL ALTERATIONS
  54.  
  55. Stable report horse status has been changed.
  56.  
  57.     A horse now can be either training or resting.  It is recommended that
  58.     when a horse is resting, it stays resting for at least two weeks.
  59.  
  60.     The trainer now provides information on how often he thinks you
  61.     should race your horse.
