  1. NOTE: This  file is intended for  use with MSDOS Quest  For Glory
  2. II: Trial By Fire ONLY!

  4. Use ONLY  if you are experiencing  character IMPORT problems with
  5. Quest For  Glory II: Trial By  Fire for MSDOS versions  up to and
  6. including 1.102.  Other uses may  give unpredictable results  and
  7. are NOT supported!
  8.  
  9. To use the replacement SCRIPT.805 file:
  10.  
  11. 1) Before proceeding, make a backup copy of your startup disk.
  12. 2) Select and perform one of the following procedures.
  13.  
  14.    For single floppy drive systems:
  15.  
  16.    a) Insert the  disk containing  the  SCRIPT.805  file in  your
  17.       floppy drive.
  18.  
  19.    b) Type: COPY A:SCRIPT.805 B: <Enter>
  20.    c) When prompted  to  "Insert  disk in  Drive B"   insert your
  21.       BACKUP startup  game disk in your  floppy drive. Then press
  22.       <Enter>.
  23.  
  24.    For dual floppy drive systems:
  25.  
  26.    a) Insert  the  disk containing  the SCRIPT.805  file in your A:
  27.       drive.
  28.    b) Insert your BACKUP startup game disk in your floppy drive.
  29.    c) Type: COPY A:SCRIPT.805 B: <Enter>
  30.  
  31.    For    single    or  dual  floppy  drive  systems  with  the  game
  32.    installed to the hard drive:
  33.  
  34.    a) Insert  the  disk containing  the SCRIPT.805  file in your A:
  35.       drive.
  36.    b) Type:  COPY A:SCRIPT.805 C:\SIERRA\TRIAL <Enter>
  37.  
  38. 3) You  can  now  proceed  to  run  or  INSTALL the game  per the
  39.    instructions in your game  documentation from your backup disk
  40.    #1 or hard disk. Please NOTE: You will NOT be able to use your
  41.    old  saved games.  You must   start the  game from  fresh. You
  42.    should still be able to IMPORT  your Quest For Glory I (Hero's
  43.    Quest: So  You Want To Be  a Hero) character if  you completed
  44.    that game.
