  6.         This Patch corrects the following:

  8.         * When sent on a mission by the Governor, upon encountering 
  9.         the Pirate, the game would lock up and/or boot to DOS. 
  10.           
  11.         * When attacking a town that contains the person that knows the 
  12.         whereabouts of a relative, the game would lock up.
  13.         
  14.         * The V1 switch as detailed in the README now functions on 
  15.         all VESA driver/video cards. 
  16.  
  17.         * The SVGA auto-detection program will now correctly recognize 
  18.         the Video7 video card.
  19.  
  20.         To update, unzip the file to the PIRATES Directory.
