  3. This update contains the following files:

  13. To update PIRATES GOLD, copy these files to your PIRATES directory
  14. (normally C:\MPS\PIRATES) using the DOS copy command.
  15.  
  16. Then, switch to the PIRATES directory (normally "CD\MPS\PIRATES")
  17.  
  18. Then, simply type UPDATE. 
  19.  
  20. NOTE: If you are the running 16-color version, you must fully 
  21. reinstall the entire game from the original diskettes choosing 
  22. the 256-color version.  Then install this update as above, and 
  23. finally convert the updated product to 16-color by typing "CONV".
