  4. If you have the original version 1.0, 1.0a, or 1.0b of the
  5. OUTPOST CD currently installed on your system, and
  6. if you downloaded the OUTP11.EXE file from a BBS, copy it
  7. to an empty directory on your hard disk and type "OUTP11"
  8. at a DOS prompt.  The compressed files will be extracted
  9. into individual files.  When the process is finished, copy
  10. all of the individual files into the OUTPOST directory on
  11. your hard disk.
  12.  
  13. If you have the original version 1.0, 1.0a, or 1.0b of the
  14. OUTPOST CD currently installed, and you have these OUTPOST
  15. update files on a floppy disk, copy the files on this disk 
  16. to the OUTPOST directory on your hard disk.

  18. When you have completed copying the new files to the OUTPOST 
  19. directory on your hard disk, this will make the files in your
  20. OUTPOST directory equal to the 1.1 version Outpost CD.

  22. The main differences between the 1.0 and 1.1 versions are the 
  23. additions of the tutorial material, the saved tutorial game, 
  24. the new "Beginner" level, re-balancing of the "Easy" level,
  25. and other miscellaneous improvements.
