  4. IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
  5.  
  6. Make sure that you read the README.TXT file included with 
  7. this update.  You can print it either from a text editor or
  8. by typing 'PRINT README.TXT' at the DOS prompt.
  9.  
  10. Detail Levels:
  11.  
  12. If you have installed the game on a 486 PC, then the Frame rate 
  13. will be set to 15 frames per second, and all detail will be set 
  14. ON.  This should be OK for a 486DX and below.  If you have a DX2 
  15. then you may wish to use a higher Frame rate.
  16.  
  17. If you have installed onto a 386 PC, then the Frame rate will be 
  18. set to 10 frames per second, and all detail will be ON, but 
  19. Texture will be OFF.  This setup is designed for slowish 386's; 
  20. if you have a 33mhz machine or faster you may wish to increase the 
  21. Frame rate.  Check the Occupancy option as described in the 
  22. technical supplement for instructions.

  24. On a 286 PC the Frame rate will be set to 8.1 frames per second, 
  25. all detail will be on, but texture will be OFF.
