  2.                        Fast 486 Sound Driver Updates
  3.  
  4. The AdLib drivers (for AdLib, Sound Blaster, Pro Audio Spectrum, Covox  and
  5. compatibles) of some of our older games have had problems with newer fast
  6. computers, especially 486/66s. This file contains a number of updated sound
  7. drivers that should work fine on all fast machines.
  8.  
  9. BEFORE UPDATING YOUR SOUND DRIVERS, PLEASE RENAME OR OTHERWISE BACKUP YOUR
  10. OLD DRIVERS! Go to your game directory and type DIR ASOUND.*, this will show
  11. you the AdLib drivers used. In most cases, there will only be one driver.
  12. Some games also used a separate one for the logo screen. Copy the
  13. corresponding updated driver(s) to your game directory and start the game as
  14. you normally would. Newer games not listed here should work fine as is on
  15. fast computers.
