  1. Welcome to the 1.2 release of Microcosm CD-ROM!
  2.  
  3. This update of Microcosm provides fixes for all known problems experienced by
  4. users and owners of Microcosm.
  5.  
  6. Simply type install c:\mcosm from the b: prompt to update Microcosm. This 
  7. will replace the existing files.
  8.  
  9. This patch fixes:
  10.       
  11.       * Freezes/Crashes on Pentium and some non-Intel CPUs
  12.       * "Black Screen" freezes (Freezing immediately upon startup)
  13.       * Hangs due to Absolute Load Address and Memory Exclusion lists
  14.       * Problems with SCSI based CD-ROM drives
  15.       * UltraSound driver conflicts
  16.       * Problems with the Setup program
  17.       * Conflicts with QEMM Stealth in most configurations
  18.       * Other less frequent problems
