  7. This patch disk will resolve the following issues that you may 
  8. encounter while playing Longbow:
  9.  
  10. 1) Fixes the "1535.TEX not found" error message that occurs if 
  11. Robin orders a drink in the pub.
  12.  
  13. 2) Corrects a looping problem that will sometimes occur when Robin
  14. talks to the Green Man.  
  15.  
  16. 3) Some game players will not be given time to hide from the 
  17. Sherrif's men in the forest the second time.  
  18.   
  19.  
  20. To install this patch, just copy the patch filess (*.TXT and *.SCR)
  21. into the directory where Longbow has been installed and then run the 
  22. game as before.

  26.                PROCEDURE TO COPY THIS PATCH
  27. 1. Insert the disk that contains the patch files into drive A: or B:.
  28.    For this example, we will use drive A:.
  29.  
  30. 2. Go into the directory on your hard drive where you have installed
  31.    Longbow and enter the following commands:
  32.    COPY A:\*.TEX <ENTER>
  33.    COPY A:\*.SCR <ENTER>
  34.  
  35. You are now ready to run the game.  Just type ROBIN <ENTER> and you are on
  36. your way.

  49. begin playing the game from the begining.  We apologize that you 
  50. will not be able to use your previously saved games.
