  1. 1) extract the patch files (PATCH.EXE and 
  2. PATCH.RTP)
  3. 2) Copy these files to your Great Naval Battles III directory 
  4. (I.E. COPY PATCH.*  C:\GNB3)
  5. 3) Type PATCH from the GNBattles III directory to patch the game files
  6. 4) Type README11 from the GNB III
  7. directory to look at the readme file documenting changes to the program.
