  6. In our continuing effort to provide you with the best software possible, we
  7. are providing this update to enhance FrontLines CD-ROM.
  8.  
  9. This "patch" will update your copy of FrontLines version to version 1.01.  
  10.  
  11. To update your game, copy the FLCDPTCH.EXE file to your FrontLines directory, 
  12. then CD to your FrontLines directory and type FLCDPTCH and hit the enter key.
  13. Once the patch has finished extracting type UPDATE and hit the enter key.
  14. This will install the patch to your FrontLines program. After the patch 
  15. installation has run successfully, you may delete patch.exe and patch.rtp. 
  16. However, you will need to rerun the patch if you re-install the game at a 
  17. later date.

  20. The following issues have been addressed (FIXED)  with this update:

  23.     In full screen mode, opportunity fire will now work.
  24.  
  25.     In full screen mode, unit summary will not cause a crash.
  26.  
  27.     In the Reports only mode, reports now display correctly.
  28.  
  29.     CD_ROM scenario stills will no longer periodically display with 
  30.     flashing white pixels.
  31.     
  32.     When ABOUT is chosen in the File menu, Front Lines would crash on 
  33.     some machines.
  34.  
  35.     In the Scenario Muddy Waters, if the AI takes the first turn the game 
  36.     will no longer crash.
  37.  
  38.     Problems with leaving reports on when loading other games have been 
  39.     fixed.
  40.  
  41.     Scenarios will no longer present problems redeploying as a certain 
  42.     side or allow you to place units in illegal areas.
  43.  
  44.     After a game is concluded the mouse will no longer lock itself into 
  45.     the upper third of the screen with some mouse drivers. ( This only 
  46.     happened on a couple of machines)
  47.  
  48.     In the Scenario Editor the game will no longer prematurely exit
  49.     to DOS (with an LBM error).

  51.     We have also added several new voices to this version.
