- To install these drivers, simply copy them into your DAWNPTRL directory on
- your hard drive, and then run SVGATEST. If SVGATEST beeps when you try to
- choose a video driver, simply press [ESC] and rename some of the .svc files
- with an extension other than .svc, .s3d, or .sga. I recommend your initials.
- SVGATEST can only handle so many drivers at once so rename about 5 or 7
- drivers that you are pretty sure will not fit your card. If you would like
- to try those drivers later, simply rename those files with the .svc extension,
- and rename 5 or 7 of the drivers you already tried with your initials.
-
- NOTE: Many of the cards will work with drivers that don't specifically seem
- to fit the card.
-
- Example: A Stealth64 series card may work with any of the below
- listed drivers.
-
- NR9_GXE
- NR9_128
- VISION
- ET4000
- BAHAMA64
- STLTH64D
-
- If in doubt as to which driver is the best to try, choose 'Z' for other as
- your video card type, and then choose 'A' to display technical information.
-
- This may help to give you a clue as to which chipset is on your card.
-
- S3 TRIO32 & TRIO64 users!!!!!
- =============================

- will go black, then get strange graphics, then the test screen will come back
- onto your monitor, and be shifted to the side. Continue holding the PGUP or
- PGDN key unitl the test screen PAGE 2 is centered on your monitor. Then press
