  2. echo  Following rules are not addressed properly in the manual:
  3. echo  
  4. echo  - Paratroops may part in an assault up to 4 hexes away.
  5. echo  
  6. echo  - Desert hexes are handled exactly the same as clear hexes. Only the
  7. echo    graphics differ. There is no defence bonus for desert.
  8. echo  
  9. echo  - Wood costs 1 AP to enter, gives no defence bonus for ground combat
  10. echo    and shifts air strikes against this hex one column to the left.
  11. echo  
  12. echo  - Basic chance for an amphibious invasion is 70%, not 80% as stated in
  13. echo    the rules. Basic chance is set to 40% if invading against a fort.
  14. echo    In both cases basic chance will be halved if invading a city and/or
  15. echo    invading an occupied tile. Artificial harbors invading an 
  16. echo    unoccupied non city hex will always have 70% chance for success.
  17. echo    There may be up to two tests against the modified invasion chance.
  18. echo    If first passes unit will land in fine order. If first passes and
  19. echo    second fails, unit will take losses and be set to 0 AP. If both fail
  20. echo    unit becomes dissolved.
  21. echo  
  22. echo  - The interception range is 4 hexes, not 7 as stated. Also there is a
  23. echo    further 50% that an available unit will not intercept. You get the
  24. echo    column on the interception combat table by substracting the 
  25. pause
  26. echo    interceptors effective strength from the bombers effective strength 
  27. echo    and rounding towards 0. So -1.4 would be resolved on the -1 column 
  28. echo    and 1.4 on the +1 column. The combat table is symetrical, so no 
  29. echo    advantage for either bomber or interceptor.

  31. echo  - If a hex in a non-clear weatherzone is attacked, then the effective
  32. echo    strength of the bomber is divided by 3 for calculating the column on
  33. echo    the ground strike table.
  34. echo  
  35. echo  - The strenght of Malta garrison has been improved.
  36. echo  
  37. echo  - Effects of Blitzkrieg have been changed. Now Blitzkrieg lasts until
  38. echo    end of the turn and each impulse Allied units north-east of Paris 
  39. echo    may get reduced morale.
