  5. In our continuing effort to provide you with the best software possible, we
  6. are providing this update to enhance Edward Grabowski's The Blue & The Gray.
  7.  
  8. This "patch" will update your copy of Edward Grabowski's The Blue and the Gray 
  9. version to version 1.01.  
  10.  
  11. To update your game, copy the files PATCH.EXE and Civil.RTP to your main
  12. game directory.  Then, type "PATCH Civil" and press enter.  After the
  13. patch has run successfully, you may delete these two files.  However, you
  14. may wish to save a copy for future use should you re-install the game at
  15. a later date.

  18. The following file will be changed with this update:

  22.     The following changes have been made in version 1.01:
  23.  
  24. o   Poor quality units will now rout at 15% rather than 10% during battles. 
  25.     This routing only occurs in certain relatively rare circumstances.
  26.

  28. o   Fixed a Graphics problem where units were exchanging identities on
  29.     on the battle field.
  30.  
  31. o   On the Strategic map, the NONE command will now unload units from their 
  32.     transport.   
  33.  
  34. o   The computer player's AI has been fine-tuned in battles.
  35.  
  36. o   We have now added a new option (under the option menu) which users may 
  37.     select to end the war should Washington be conquered by the Confederacy.
