  8. About PATCH.GUS:

  10. The Gravis Ultra Sound Patch PATCH.GUS is a patch to fix the MIDI sound
  11. problems for: Gravis Ultra Sound, and The 11th Hour:  The Sequel to The
  12. 7th Guest. Although Carl thought the incessant drum beat was really cool.
  13. I find this much more comforting when travailing with turmoil.

  15. To install this patch:
  16.  
  17. Look in your C:\games\11h directory. 
  18. Enter " dir *.gus" to identify your existing GUS file (example: 512.gus)  
  19.  
  20.      Rename PATCH.GUS to
  21.                     256.GUS
  22.                     512.GUS
  23.                     1024.GUS
  24.                     2048.GUS
  25.  
  26. The numeric values depend on the amount of memory on-board your Gravis
  27. Ultrasound Card.  Please copy it to the C:\Games\11h directory (the
  28. default installation path).

  30. Disclaimer:  This is the fix we've developed to correct the percussion
  31. problem with the GUS.  It is intended to only give you music where there
  32. was none.
