-
Package Selection

-
-

- The following package sets are offered for your new OpenLinux system.
- Note that you can easily install additional packages or remove
- unwanted packages after installation.
-

-
-

- The disk space requirements given do not take into account
- free space for files you create or post-installation packages
- you add to your system. These package selections also do
- not contain any of the commercial Packages. Make sure the
- partition(s) to which you are installing OpenLinux have enough
- extra free space.
-

-
-

- If you are installing to more than one partition (e.g. you have
- /usr as a separate partition), make sure each partition is large
- enough for the data installed there.
-

-
-
-
General Installation Profiles

-
-

- These options install general purpose package sets. The Standard
- Installation provides a good default for most cases. The
- following options are available:

-
Standard Installation

-
All Packages

-

-
-
-
Special Installation Profiles

-
-

- These options install package sets for specific needs. The
- package sets should be self-explanatory.
-

- of the exact packages installed by clicking on the links below.

-
Web Server

-

-
-
Custom selection (floppy)

-
-

- When you select this option, you will be prompted to insert a
- floppy with a custom package selection. This option is mainly
- useful for VARs and system administrators who want to use and
- distribute their own custom-tailored package selections.
-

-
-

- The packages included and the disk space requirements depend
- on the custom configuration.
