  19. NetStat provides simple tracking of your Dial-Up stats.
  20. Stats are broken down into sections.
  21. Current Stats provide details on your current connection.
  22. Connect speed, duration, Idle time (total time with no
  23. network activity), Bytes Received, Bytes Sent, Current
  24. bytes/sec.

  26. Session Stats provide overall details since windows was
  27. started.

  29. Custom Stats allows the user to start/stop a counter to keep
  30. track of specific things like how long it takes to download
  31. linux.

  33. There are also Detailed Stats which can show you day by day
  34. or monthly stat totals.

  36. Transfer Meter displays your current transfer activity on a
  37. line graph.

  39. Installation
  40.  
  41. In order for NetStat to continually keep track of your
  42. stats its recommended you run NetStat when windows start,
  43. Simply put a shortcut to NetStat in your Startup folder.
  44. Known bugs
  45.  
  46. When after setting meter peek it does not remain fixed. If a
  47. faster byte/sec is received the meter ignores the meter peek
  48. and grows beyond it.

  54.  - Added an option to automatically start NetStat via the
  55.    start menu or system registry.

  57.  - Added a configurable interval for saving stats to disk.
  58.    (default 10 seconds)

  60.  - Right-clicking the icon in the system tray now provides
  61.    Connect/Disconnect.

  65.  - The default interval has been changed from 1 second to 10
  66.    seconds, this greatly reduced NetStat CPU usage.

  68.  - Monthly stats are now saved to a separate file for each
  69.    month. This eliminates the problem with INI files being
  70.    limited to 64k in size.

  72.  - Detailed stats now allows you to display totals between 
  73.    two user defined dates and keeps track of the number of
  74.    calls.
