  64. INSTALLING THE DEMO
  65.  
  66. 1)  Place the Normality Demo CD into your CD-ROM drive.  Close the drive.
  67. 2)  Type D: (or the letter of your CD-ROM drive) and press <Enter>.
  68. 3)  Type INSTALL and press <Enter> to open the Install utility.  Follow 
  69.      the onscreen instructions to setup Normality on your computer.

  72. GETTING STARTED
  73. ---------------

  75.     You are Kent, our abnormal hero, and you must use your wits to 
  76. outwit the Norm Police and save Neutropolis.  You are confined to your 
  77. apartment, and you must find clues and items to help you in your quest.  
  78. Feel free to look around, and take things that may help you later.  
  79. Depress the left mouse button and roam around the apartment by moving 
  80. your mouse.  If you wish to look up or down, depress both buttons and 
  81. move the mouse forward or back.  If you see an item you would like to 
  82. examine, place the pointer on that item and depress the right mouse button.  
  83. This will bring up your "voodoo" Kent figure.  Click on his glasses to LOOK 
  84. at the item. Click on his right hand to USE an item.   Click on his left 
  85. hand (with the claw) to TAKE an item and store it in your inventory.  To 
  86. use items in your inventory, click on the bag in the upper right hand 
  87. corner of your screen.  This will bring up your inventory list which 
  88. shows everything you've collected so far.  To use an item, click on it.  
  89. You can even use items together by clicking on one item, dragging it 
  90. over another, and clicking again.
  91.     While in the apartment, you will be continuously harassed by a 
  92. Norm Trouper standing guard outside your door.  If your television is 
  93. not heard 24 hours a day, you are considered abnormal and will be thrown 
  94. in the Blue Pens for reprogramming.  Unfortunately, your piece of junk 
  95. TV is faulty and keeps turning off.  There are items in your apartment 
  96. that will help you, as you must find a way to keep the boob tube going 
  97. so you can sneak out of your apartment.  Without these items, your 
  98. chances of survival are very "remote" and you will never be free 
  99. as a "bird".  Good luck, and whatever you do, DON'T stay normal!
