  1. If you install one of the applications below after installing
  2. Correct Grammar, you should use it to look at the document
  3. listed for important tips.

  5. Windows Write               INSTALCG.WRI
  6. Word for Windows            INSTALCG.DOC
  7. Ami and AmiProfessional     INSTALCG.SAM
  8. PageMaker 4                 INSTALCG.PM4
  9. Legacy                      INSTALCG.CHP
  10. WordPerfect for Windows     INSTALCG.WP

  12. To use Correct Grammar with other Windows applications, just do the following:

  15. 1.  Select the text you want to check with the mouse.
  16.  
  17. 2.  Use the Edit / Copy command to copy it to the clipboard.
  18.  
  19. 3.  Bring up Correct Grammar from the System menu by clicking on the upper left
  20.     hand corner box or pressing Alt-spacebar. Then choose Correct Grammar.

  22.     If you don't see Correct Grammar in the system menu, then find it on your desktop
  23.     and double-click on it.
  24.  
  25. 4.  Go through the text and make whatever modifications Correct Grammar is suggesting.
  26.     At the end, when asked, put the modifications on the Clipboard.

  28. 5.  Back in your application, check that your selection is still active, and make the
  29.     selection again if you accidentally erased it.  Then choose Edit / Paste to make the
  30.     changes in your document.

  32. WARNING:  For applications other than Word, Ami, PageMaker, Legacy and, in the future,
  33.       Word Perfect for Windows, you will lose font and emphasis.
