- Reports are circulating that PKZIP/PKUNZIP version 2.04c has been
- causing some problems with certain systems. Use caution when using
- ZIP'R in combination with PKZIP/PKUNZIP 2.04c. I have had no trouble
- using version 2.04c, but it would be wise to be extremely careful.
-
- Most trouble reports that I have seen involve DPMI memory. If you
- are running QEMM, make sure that you have the updated QDPMI. If you are
- running under OS/2, an updated DPMI driver is available from the IBM BBS.
-
- There appear to be some problems with EMS/XMS memory as well, but
- these problems and their solutions vary.
-
- If you have a 486 or 486SX with an external cache, you may need to
- use the "Slow MemCopy" command line switch.
-
- For more information, refer to the PKZIP/PKUNZIP documentation and to
- the related section in the ZIP'R documentation.
