- PROGRAM TITLE:
-
- TINYPROG
-
- Tranzoa, Co.
- P.O. Box 911
- Maple Valley, WA 98038
- (206) 432-3532
- March 8, 1992

-
-
- PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
-
- TINYPROG converts EXE and COM programs to a smaller file
- size. TINYPROG compresses most programs from 10% to 30%. Before
- it runs, the compressed program thoroughly verifies that it has
- not been tampered with or accidentally changed. Software
- developers may include easily patched, un-compressed data with
- their TINYPROG'ed programs.
-
- When run with no command line arguments, TINYPROG explains
- how you may use it. A command line option tells TINYPROG to
- print its own documentation to the screen, file, or printer.
-
-
-
- INTENDED USER:
-
- PC users with limited disk space - who need to use more
- programs than their disks will hold.
-
- Anyone who wishes to stop others from running certain
- programs.
-
- PC software developers who wish to ship a smaller program.
-
- PC software developers who want to ship programs that will
- stay un-corrupted in the field.
-
- PC software developers who want to make their programs
- easily able to self-configure their own run-time file.
-
- PC software developers who want their programs to be very
- difficult for users to scan with file-dump programs and to patch
- with debuggers.
-
-
-
- FEATURES OF THE PROGRAM WITH RESPECT TO OTHERS:
-
- TINYPROG produces significantly smaller files than EXEPACK.
- Plus, corrupted TINYPROG'ed programs generally quit gracefully,
- rather than locking up the machine.
-
- TINYPROG gives the program developer an area in the program
- file that is as easy to patch as if the program were a COM file.
-
- TINYPROG allows you to stop those without knowledge of a
- password from running a program.
-
-
-
- PROGRAM LIMITATIONS:
-
- TINYPROG will not convert:
