  5.   This QEMM 7 technote is an abridged version of a technical
  6.   bulletin that is available through our standard support channels.
  7.   The information contained in this version pertains ONLY to QEMM
  8.   version 7.0.  If you need information relating to earlier versions

  18.   Subject: A step-by-step, flowchart-like procedure for solving
  19.   problems with QEMM that are not addressed by more specific,
  20.   product-oriented technical notes.

  23.   You are experiencing a problem with your hardware or software.
  24.   Since QEMM is your memory manager and is the control program for
  25.   everything loaded after QEMM, you may feel that QEMM is causing
  26.   the problem.  However, most problems result from the complex
  27.   combination of multiple TSRs, device drivers and program(s)
  28.   loaded in memory and trying to run in harmony with your expanded
  29.   memory manager and your various hardware devices.  We want to
  30.   determine whether QEMM is involved with the problem you are
  31.   experiencing.  If it turns out that QEMM is involved, we will
  32.   follow a series of steps to resolve it.

  34.   Before you begin troubleshooting, you should read through our
  35.   technical bulletin PRODUCTS.TEC which can be found in your
  36.   QEMM\TECHNOTE directory.  This file contains product compatibility
  37.   information and may provide the solution to your problem.

  39.   You should also refer to TROUBLE.TEC which is also located in
  40.   your QEMM\TECHNOTE directory.  TROUBLE.TEC is a general
  41.   troubleshooting and reference guide.  It may refer you to a
  42.   technical bulletin that deals specifically with your problem.
  43.   Some of the technotes mentioned in TROUBLE.TEC can be found in
  44.   your QEMM\TECHNOTE directory.  Others can be obtained through our
  45.   standard support channels.  See CONTACT.TEC (located in
  46.   QEMM\TECHNOTE) for information on obtaining technical bulletins.

  49.   This technote was written to help you troubleshoot problems
  50.   involving QEMM.  The troubleshooting procedure involves several
  51.   steps.  Many of these steps are the same ones outlined in
  52.   EX13FLOW.TEC (our technote dealing with Exception #13 errors.)
  53.   We have included EX13FLOW.TEC in your QEMM\TECHNOTE directory.
  54.   In the interest of saving hard drive space, we will refer you to
  55.   that technical bulletin.  Follow each of the steps in
  56.   EX13FLOW.TEC except for STEPS # 5 and 6.  These two steps are
  57.   only necessary if you are experiencing a problem with Exception
  58.   #13 errors.
