  2. The Setup program includes Help Windows like this one.
  3. Use PAGE UP and PAGE DOWN to scroll through Help.
  4. Click Exit to quit the Setup Program.

  7. The Setup Program includes Help windows like this one. To find
  8. out about a particular option, select that option and press F1
  9. or click the Help button. To exit Setup, press F3 or click Exit.

  12. Please enter your full name and the name of your company.
  13. Setup copies this information to a file on your disk.
  14. The information is used for copyright protection.

  33. The directory box indicates the drive and directory
  34. where Setup installs the mouse files. Choose Continue
  35. to install the software for your mouse into the default

  167. orientation. You can make the pointer more visible and
  168. set a variety of other useful pointer options. Mouse Manager
  169. also contains Help for your mouse and mouse software.

  179. Setup installs files necessary to run a short demonstration about the
  180. mouse and mouse software. The Mouse Manager files must be installed

  190. Setup installs files containing some important notes that
  191. weren't available at the time the User's Guide went to the

  197. Choose Continue to let Setup customize your system
  198. for the mouse, or select the desired options. For more
  199. information about each option, choose that option and
  200. see Help.

  203. The Mouse Setup Program makes changes to AUTOEXEC.BAT,
  204. CONFIG.SYS, WIN.INI, and SYSTEM.INI on your system in order
  205. to correctly install the software. Setup makes backup copies of 
  206. AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS, and renames the files with 
  207. .BAK extensions (example: AUTOEXEC.BAK). If you do not want
  208. changes made to these files, exit Setup now. The mouse software
  209. will not be installed and no changes will be made to your system.

  229. statement exists, Setup creates one. Note that Setup
  230. creates a backup of an existing AUTOEXEC.BAT file in
  231. the root directory and names the backup AUTOEXEC.BAK.

  233. NOTE:
  234. Please be aware that if you do not add the mouse to
  235. your AUTOEXEC.BAT file, the file may contain older
  236. versions of mouse software and the new software may
  237. not run properly. You'll need to replace older drivers
  238. (for example, MOUSE.COM or MOUSE.SYS) with the new
  239. driver MOUSE.EXE. It's easiest to let Setup do it for you.

  241. ~LOAD_AUTO
  242. Setup adds a line containing MOUSE.EXE to the
  243. AUTOEXEC.BAT file. If you don't select this option,
  244. you will have to load the mouse manually every time
  245. you start your computer (see Help in Mouse Manager).
  246.  
  247. ~ACTIVATE_LCD
  248. Setup automatically makes the mouse pointer larger
  249. and reverses its color to improve its visibility.

  251. ~CPANEL_SCREEN
  252. Mouse Manager lets you customize your mouse software.
  253.  
  254. ~FINAL_SCRN
  255. Click the Meet the Mouse button to run a short demonstration
  256. about the mouse and its software. You'll return to this screen 
  257. after the demonstration is finished. Once you've seen the
  258. demonstration, choose Restart to exit Windows and initialize
  259. your mouse software. Setup then automatically opens Windows
  260. and Mouse Manager.

  263. software. Setup automatically loads Mouse Manager
  264. when you return to Microsoft Windows. Use Mouse Manager
  265. to customize your mouse after Setup. You can access Mouse
  266. Manager anytime from the Windows Control Panel or from the
  267. Mouse Program Group, which Setup creates.

  269. Click Exit to quit Setup without restarting Windows.
  270. Please be aware that your mouse software will not be
  271. loaded and initialized until you exit Microsoft Windows
  272. after the Mouse Setup Program.

  275. your MS-DOS mouse software.
