  14. USE CTRL-S TO STOP AND START THE SCROLLING PROCESS AS YOU READ THIS FILE.

  70. This program will move the heads on your SEAGATE ST213, ST225, ST238R,
  71. ST225N or ST251N hard disks to their dedicated LANDING ZONE.  This process
  72. is recommended prior to ANY physical relocation of the computer or removal
  73. of the hard disk drives for any reason.

  75. Invoke DISKPARK as follows:

  77.          A>DISKPARK <ENTER>

  80. You will then be prompted:

  83.      You should TURN OFF the computer after running this program.
  84.      Do you wish to proceed? (y/n):

  87. The following message will appear if the heads are parked successfully:

  89.          DISK HEADS ARE NOW PARKED AT CYLINDER 670.
  90.          POWER SHOULD NOW BE TURNED OFF.
  91.  
  92.  
  93. The following message will appear if a failure occurred or if the operator
  94. terminated the activity:
  95.  
  96.          DISKPARK PROGRAM ABORTED.
  97.          HEADS ARE NOT NECESSARILY PARKED CORRECTLY!

  101. The following message indicates the failure to recognize the presence of a
  102. hard disk. Use DISK MANAGER DIAGNOSTICS if necessary to resolve the
  103. problem:

  105.          NO HARD DISKS INSTALLED.
  106.

  108. The following error messages will appear according to the error code
  109. reported from the system. NOTE: "XX" represents the drive number,
  110. "YY" represents the hexadecimal error code as returned from the
  111. hard disk BIOS:

  114.          RECALIBRATE FAILED, DRIVE XX, RETURN CODE = YY.
  115.  
  116.          SET PARAMETERS FAILED, DRIVE XX, RETURN CODE = YY.

  118.          SEEK TO LANDING ZONE FAILED, DRIVE XX, RETURN CODE = YY.
