  2. Problems Caused Through Network Drivers.

  5. The PALASM 4 menu system processes many commands by paging in and out and
  6. executing other programs supplied in the 'EXE' subdirectory. The following
  7. is a list of known system configurations that may cause menu operation
  8. failures:
  9.  
  10. 1.      Using PALASM 4 across networks not supported
  11. 2.      Network drivers are loaded in low-memory (ie address < 640K)

  18. No testing has been done to vailidate using the PALASM 4 software across PC
  19. networks.  We do not currently recommend using the software in this manner.

  22. 2.      Network drivers are loaded in low-memory (ie address < 640K)

  24. Loading Network drivers (eg, PC-NFS, 3COM, NOVEL, RAF etc. drivers in
  25. your CONFIG.SYS file) is known to cause sporadic failures in the PALASM 4
  26. memory system when loaded in low memory. It is not yet known whether
  27. these are problems cause by interference between the software or purely
  28. because they reduce the availability of low-end memory. If you are
  29. having problems try loading these drivers into high memory (ie. address
  30. > 640K)

  32. Note: You do not need to be using the network to potentially see
  33.       problems through loaded network drivers.
