  4.  1. Do one of the following:

  6.    o Insert Diskette 1 or the compact disc that contains the installation 
  7.      program into the appropriate drive. 
  8.    o Access the network where the multimedia programs reside.

  10.     Note:   If you need help accessing the multimedia programs from the 
  11.             network, contact your network administrator for assistance. 
  12.  
  13.  2. From the Source Drive field, select the drive that contains the information 
  14.     to be installed. 
  15.  3. In the Source Directory field, select the path that leads to the source 
  16.     information. 
  17.  4. In the Target field, select the drive on which you want to install the 
  18.     multimedia programs. 
  19.  
  20. Note:   You must install all of the programs in the same directory (the default 
  21.         directory is MMOS2).  You can specify the target drive for the initial 
  22.         installation but, you must use the default paths on that drive.

  31. In the Features field, select the features you want to install.

  33. Make your selections based on your system configuration. For example, if you 
  34. have a CD-ROM drive and want to play music CDs, select the CD Audio feature.

  36. If you change your mind about a selection, you can always deselect it.

  51. Before you can use the multimedia features you installed, you must shut down 
  52. and restart your system using the OS/2 shutdown procedure.

  54. Warning:  You could lose information if you turn off your computer without 
  55. doing the shutdown procedure.

  57. To shut down your system: 
  58.  
  59.  1. Move the mouse pointer to an area on the desktop that is free of objects. 
  60.  2. Click mouse button 2 to display the desktop pop-up menu. 
  61.  3. Select Shutdown.... 
  62.  4. Select the appropriate action for any shutdown window that is displayed.

  74. Sometimes it is desirable to interrupt the installation process and continue it 
  75. at another time. If you select Suspend to suspend installation, The Suspension 
  76. Confirmation window gives you an opportunity to change your mind and resume 
  77. installation while the program is still running: 
  78.  
  79. o Select Cancel if you decide to resume installation immediately. 
  80. o Select OK to confirm the installation suspension. 
  81.  
  82. If you select OK, the installation program is ended. You can then restart the 
  83. program at your convenience and continue with the installation process. 
  84.  
  85. To resume installation: 
  86.  
  87.  1. Start the installation program. 
  88.  2. Follow the installation procedure until the MMPM/2 - Previous Installation 
  89.     Interrupted window appears. 
  90.  3. Select Continue and follow the instructions in the subsequent windows to 
  91.     complete the installation.

  211. is made, ".." (the symbol for the parent directory) becomes the first choice in 
  212. the Directory field.  To return to the parent (previous) directory, double 
  213. click on the ".." symbol.

  218. The Target Drive field is used to display the letter of the drive the files

  226. After a drive is selected and the installation process starts, the selected

  559.         the CONFIGCH.NEW file, your multimedia applications will not run
