  6. To install the DOS version of the Personal NetWare Tutorial,
  7. at the DOS prompt, type A:DOSTUTOR and press ENTER. Follow 
  8. the instructions.

  10. To install the Windows version of the Personal NetWare 
  11. Tutorial, at the Program Manager, select File and Run. 
  12. Type A:WINTUTOR.EXE. Follow the instructions.

  14. =======Running the Tutorial==========

  16. To run the DOS version of the tutorial, change into the
  17. appropriate directory and at the DOS prompt enter PNWTRAIN.

  19. To run the Windows version of the tutorial, in the Program 
  20. Manager, double-click on the Personal NetWare Tutorial icon 
  21. in the Personal NetWare Tutorial group window.

  26. If you are using a codepage other than codepage 437,
  27. at the DOS prompt you must enter:

  29.           mode con cp select = 437
  30. or
  31.           chcp 437.

  34. ==Running the Tutorial on the Network==

  36. To run the Tutorial on a Personal NetWare network, users
  37. must have full read and write access to the Tutorial
  38. directory. When running the Tutorial from a server of the 
  39. NetWare 2, 3, or 4 product families, flag the Tutorial 
  40. files as shareable, read-write. This allows multiple
  41. users to access the Tutorial simultaneously.

  44. =====Challenge Scoring on a Network=====
  45.  
  46. Personal NetWare Windows Tutorial Challenge scores reflect
  47. the first answer received. If you are accessing the
  48. Challenge at the same time as another user on a network, you
  49. may not see an accurate reflection of your results.

  52. =====MS Windows Troubleshooting Tip===== 
  53.  
  54. Problem: If you have problems viewing the Personal NetWare 
  55.          Tutorial (for example, the screens seem distorted), 
  56.          most likely your video driver conflicts with the 
  57.          Personal NetWare Tutorial runtime application.
  58.  
  59. Solution:In MS Windows, open the Main Group window and 
  60.          double-click on the Windows Setup Icon.  Write 
  61.          down your Windows Display setting (so you can
  62.          reset your display if desired).

  64.          Select Options > Change System Settings.  To view
  65.          the Tutorial in 640 x 480 mode, select "VGA."  
  66.          To view the Personal NetWare Tutorial in 
  67.          800 x 600 mode, select "Super VGA (800 x 600, 
  68.          16 colors).
