  2. ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1. Help for TTY Operating Mode ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

  4. The Operating Mode determines whether the emulation can display only the 
  5. standard 128 ASCII character codes or the entire 256-character set. 
  6.  
  7. Note:  The Communications Parameters must be set for 8 data bits and no parity 
  8. for 8-bit mode to be fully operational.

  13. Select either 7-Bit or 8-Bit operating mode for the emulation. 
  14.  
  15. If 7-Bit is selected, the characters displayed are limited to the standard 128 
  16. ASCII character codes. 
  17.  
  18. If 8-Bit is selected, the characters displayed can include the entire 
  19. 256-character set of the personal computer including graphics characters. 
  20.
