- 1. Delete the Ami Pro template
- Open the templates folder and delete any and all Ami Pro
- templates.

- 2. Delete the Ami Pro for OS/2 icon from you desktop, and any
- shadows of the Icon you have created.

- 3. Delete all references to Ami Pro for OS/2 from the OS2.INI
- file.
- Go into the Ami Pro for OS/2 directory.
- Run IniEdit.exe.
- Click on file / open / os2.ini
- In the IniEdit utilities, the Applications are listed on the
- left, and the keys which exist within those applications are
- listed to the right.

- If the following lines exist in your OS2.INI, please follow the
- directions listed under each.
- Select the Application - AmiPro
- Click on Delete / Application.
- Select the Application - PMCHECKSUM
- Click on Delete / Application.
- Select the Application - Amiuser
- Click on Delete / Application.
- Delete the following keys if they exist:
- (Please note: the number will be different for each install)
- PMWP_ASSOC_FILTER
- Select the key - *.SAM=190366 (all *.SAM the number will be
- different for each install)
- Click on Delete / Key
- PMWP_ASSOC_TYPE
- Select the key - AMI PRO DOCUMENT = 190366 (the number will
- be different for each install)
- Click on Delete / Key
- PM_Workplace:Templates
- Select the key - WPDataFile:225225:Ami Pro Document (the
- number will be different for each install)
- Click on Delete / Key
- PM_Workplace:Location
- Select the key - <AmiProOS2> = (all entries like this)
- Click on Delete / Key
- PM_Fonts
- Select the key - LOTUS1.OFM="Ami Pro program path"
- Click on Delete / Key
- Select the key - LOWPF___.OFM="Ami Pro program path"
- Click on Delete / Key

- A previously installed version might differ somewhat.
- Therefore, if you see any reference to Ami Pro, a *.sam extension,
- or a file located in the Ami Pro install directory, also delete
- that key.

- 4. Delete the Ami Pro specific files from the OS/2 directory
- Switch to the os2 directory on the drive where OS/2 is installed.
- Delete all files with the following characteristics:
- AMI*.INI
- LTS*.INI
- PANOSE.BIN
- The files that we write into the os2 directory (after a complete
- install)are:
- AMICAL.INI
- AMIDCA.INI
- AMIENV.INI
- AMIEPS01.TBL
- AMIEQN.INI
- AMIIMAGE.INI
- AMILABEL.INI
- AMISKDW4.INI
- AMISKWP5.INI
- AMITLS3.TBL
- AMIUSER3.INI
- PANOSE.BIN

- 5. Delete the Ami Pro specific files from the OS/2\DLL directory
- Switch into the OS2\SYSTEM directory on the drive where OS/2
- is installed.
- Delete the following file if it exists.
- AMICLIB.DLL

- 6. Delete the Ami Pro program directory
- Delete the Ami Pro program directory for all installs of Ami Pro
- for OS/2 on your local drive.

- 7. Restart OS/2.
