  1. 1. Delete the Ami Pro template
  2.     Open the templates folder and delete any and all Ami Pro
  3.     templates.
  4.  
  5. 2. Delete the Ami Pro for OS/2 icon from you desktop, and any
  6.     shadows of the Icon you have created.
  7.  
  8. 3. Delete all references to Ami Pro for OS/2 from the OS2.INI 
  9.     file.
  10.     Go into the Ami Pro for OS/2 directory.
  11.     Run IniEdit.exe.
  12.     Click on file / open / os2.ini
  13.     In the IniEdit utilities, the Applications are listed on the
  14.     left, and the keys which exist within those applications are 
  15.     listed to the right.
  16.  
  17.     If the following lines exist in your OS2.INI, please follow the
  18.     directions listed under each.
  19.     Select the Application - AmiPro
  20.         Click on Delete / Application.
  21.     Select the Application - PMCHECKSUM
  22.         Click on Delete / Application.
  23.     Select the Application - Amiuser
  24.         Click on Delete / Application.
  25.     Delete the following keys if they exist: 
  26.         (Please note: the number will be different for each install)
  27.     PMWP_ASSOC_FILTER
  28.         Select the key - *.SAM=190366 (all *.SAM the number will be 
  29.         different for each install)
  30.         Click on Delete / Key
  31.     PMWP_ASSOC_TYPE
  32.         Select the key - AMI PRO DOCUMENT = 190366  (the number will
  33.         be different for each install)
  34.         Click on Delete / Key
  35.     PM_Workplace:Templates
  36.         Select the key - WPDataFile:225225:Ami Pro Document (the
  37.         number will be different for each install)
  38.         Click on Delete / Key
  39.     PM_Workplace:Location
  40.         Select the key - <AmiProOS2> = (all entries like this)
  41.         Click on Delete / Key
  42.     PM_Fonts
  43.         Select the key - LOTUS1.OFM="Ami Pro program path"
  44.         Click on Delete / Key
  45.         Select the key - LOWPF___.OFM="Ami Pro program path"
  46.         Click on Delete / Key

  48.     A previously installed version might differ somewhat.  
  49.     Therefore, if you see any reference to Ami Pro, a *.sam extension, 
  50.     or a file located in the Ami Pro install directory, also delete 
  51.     that key.

  53. 4. Delete the Ami Pro specific files from the OS/2 directory 
  54.     Switch to the os2 directory on the drive where OS/2 is installed.
  55.     Delete all files with the following characteristics:
  56.     AMI*.INI
  57.     LTS*.INI
  58.     PANOSE.BIN
  59.     The files that we write into the os2 directory (after a complete 
  60.     install)are:
  61.     AMICAL.INI
  62.     AMIDCA.INI
  63.     AMIENV.INI
  64.     AMIEPS01.TBL
  65.     AMIEQN.INI
  66.     AMIIMAGE.INI
  67.     AMILABEL.INI
  68.     AMISKDW4.INI
  69.     AMISKWP5.INI
  70.     AMITLS3.TBL
  71.     AMIUSER3.INI
  72.     PANOSE.BIN
  73.  
  74. 5. Delete the Ami Pro specific files from the OS/2\DLL directory
  75.     Switch into the OS2\SYSTEM directory on the drive where OS/2 
  76.     is installed.
  77.     Delete the following file if it exists. 
  78.     AMICLIB.DLL
  79.  
  80. 6. Delete the Ami Pro program directory
  81.     Delete the Ami Pro program directory for all installs of Ami Pro 
  82.     for OS/2 on your local drive.
  83.  
  84. 7. Restart OS/2.
