@Bullet 1@<:s>First you can run a REXX command file directly from within Ami Pro (Look under the Tools/Macro menu)

@Bullet 1@<:s>You can embed Ami Pro macro functions directly into a REXX CMD file.
@Bullet 1@<:s>You can also embed REXX commands directly into an Ami Pro macro
<:s><:#P25716327,P4718590>Take a look at Ami Pro's REXXFIND macro. This macro calls the OS/2 Seek and Find routine directly through REXX. It then exchanges information with the REXX function and list the files that match the criteria. Think of what you can do with an application macro language that is this tightly integrated with OS/2's system programming language.

<:s><:#P25716327,P7549744>Ami Pro offers a host of command line parameters for starting Ami Pro and automatically performing tasks. For instance your REXX or EXE program can start Ami Pro, create a new file using any template, print the file to any printer on the network, even start macros that download data from a mainframe, process the data in 1-2-3 (which is also completely REXX enabled), format the data in Ami Pro and then mail the document automatically through Notes or cc:Mail. All this without ever pressing a key or clicking a mouse.
