- The layout cells in this library are distributed in Tanner DataBase format
- (.TDB) which can be read and written from the Tanner Research layout editor
- L-Edit version 3.00 or later. To install, simply copy the contents of this
- diskette into the desired directory on your hard disk.

- On your distribution disk you should find the following files:

- !README.SCL - This file.

- !README2.SCL - The file which describes changes between versions of
- SCMOSLib.

- STANDARD.DOC - A file containing the design guidelines for the scalable
- layout library. This documentation will be useful should
- you decide to add to the cell set.

- SCNLIB.TDB - The n-well version of the standard cell layout library.
- (No pads.) These cells can be scaled from 3.0um to 1.2um.

- SCN20U.TDB - The same cells as in SCNLIB.TDB scaled to 2.0um and
- combined with a set of 2.0um n-well pads. This pad set
- contains a digital input pad (IPadC), a digital output pad
- (OPad), a digital bi-directional pad (BPadZH), a bare I/O
- pad (BareIOPad) for unbuffered analog signals or heavily
- loaded signals (such as clocks), a blank pad (BlankPad) for
- use as an unconnected pad or as a start for designing your
- own pad, and a corner pad (CornerPad) and spacer "bars" for
- completing a padframe. Also included is a complete pad
- frame that is compatible with the MOSIS 40PC22X22 standard
- pad frame and with the MOSIS 2.0um n-well TinyChip.

- SCPLIB.TDB - The p-well version of the standard cell layout library.
- (No pads.) These cells can be scaled from 3.0um to 1.2um.

- SCP30U.TDB - The same cells as in SCPLIB.TDB scaled to 3.0um and
- combined with a set of 3.0um p-well pads similar to the
- pads in SCN20U.TDB. Also included is a complete pad frame
- that is compatible with the MOSIS 28PC23X34 standard pad
- frame and with the MOSIS 3.0um p-well TinyChip.

- SCP20U.TDB - The same cells as in SCPLIB.TDB scaled to 2.0um and
- combined with a set of 2.0um p-well pads similar to the
- pads in SCN20U.TDB. Also included is a complete pad frame
- that is compatible with the MOSIS 40PC22X22 standard pad
- frame and with the MOSIS 2.0um p-well TinyChip.

- To copy the library files, type a:install at the DOS prompt.

- Please refer to the SCMOSLib manual for documentation on this cell library.

- The SCMOSLib cells are designed to a 1 lambda grid and adhere to the MOSIS
- scalable design rules (Rev. 6). The resulting complete chips can be
- fabricated by a variety of vendors. Contact Tanner Research for a current
- vendor list.

- The best known source of fabrication of prototype quantities for designs using
- this library is MOSIS. For more information on fabrication costs and
