  2. README.TXT - A Guide to the PATOOLS directory

  4. The files contained in this directory enhance or enable
  5. a variety of Personal Architect functions.  They are
  6. described below.

  9. --- UTILITY FILES ---
  10.  
  11. CGBKEY.COM   - For IBM Professional Graphics display board or CV Advanced
  12.                Graphics board; allows [Alt][Esc] toggle between graphics
  13.                and text memory pages;
  14. FASTKEY.COM  - Improves the keystroke repeat speed (use with care);
  15. KBDBUF.COM   - Raises the keystroke buffer from 16 to 100;
  16. SUPEREN.COM  - Can be used (with care) to rename directories; type
  17.                "superen olddirname newdirname"
  18. YNTEST.COM   - A utility program used in certain batch files that accepts
  19.                a yes/no answer, and sets errorlevel value for testing;
  20. BEEP.COM     - Used during installation;
  21.  
  22. CHEKSYS.EXE  - Used during installation;
  23. DISKMAN.EXE  - Used during installation;
  24. EDOPTION.EXE - Used during installation;
  25. DISPLAY.EXE  - Will display SAVE SCREEN files directly from DOS for 
  26.                Advanced Graphics and Professional Graphics boards only;
  27. FIX8087.EXE  - Resets the 8087/80287 math coprocessor chip - used for
  28.                troubleshooting and maintenance;
  29. PRINT.PG     - Dumps a SAVE SCREEN file to an IBM Graphics Printer from DOS -
  30.                for Advanced Graphics and Professional Graphics boards only;
  31. RESET.EXE    - Resets the Tecmar Grahics Master display board after a 
  32.                display crash; use only on Tecmar-based systems;
  33. WHERE.EXE    - An all directory file finder; type "where filename";
  34. ZERO.EXE     - A utility used to clear memory;

  38. AUTOEXEC.PG  - A backup copy of the Personal Architect AUTOEXEC file for
  39.                IBM Professional Graphics and Computervision Advanced
  40.                Graphics-based (AG and AGH) systems;
  41. AUTOEXEC.TM1 - A backup copy of the Personal Architect AUTOEXEC file for
  42.                all other systems;
  43. AUTOEXEC.BAT - A backup copy of the installed Personal Architect
  44.                AUTOEXEC file;
  45.  
  46. DES.BAT      - The execute file which will start the Personal Architect - 
  47.                Architectural Design Module from any directory; 
  48.                the installed version;
  49. DRA.BAT      - The execute file which will start the Personal Architect - 
  50.                Advanced Architectural Drafting Module; can be called from
  51.                any directory; the installed version;

  53. INSTALL.DES  - The diskette-based new installation program for Personal
  54.                Architect - Architectural Design;
  55. INSTALL.DRA  - The diskette-based new installation program for Personal
  56.                Architect - Advanced Architectural Drafting;
  57. INSTALL.BAT  - The program used to re-install graphics devices, protection
  58.                devices, and input devices for software that has already
  59.                been installed from diskette;
  60. SECURE.BAT   - Used to install protection security codes;
  61. SECURE.DAT   - Used to install protection security codes;
  62. LOAD1X.BAT   - Used during installation;
  63. DRAFT.DAT    - Used during installation;
  64. DESIGN.DAT   - Used during installation;
  65. DMANPAD      - Used during installation;
  66. INSTALL.PA   - Backup of INSTALL>BAT
