  1. AREA/CN (area/centroid) allows you to measure the area of 
  2. a selected closed figure and displays the x and y 
  3. coordinates of the centroid. Selected entity data 
  4. information is always projected to the current display 
  5. plane before area or centroid calculations are performed 
  6. with the exception of the CIRCLE option.

  8. Indicate the selection schemes for area and centroid
  9. calculations by choosing from the following options:

  11. CIRCLE   - to select an arc or circle for area and 
  12.            centroid calculation.

  14. CLSED LN - to select a set of line entities whose
  15.            projections define a closed region in the 
  16.            current view.

  18. GENERAL  - to choose a set of entities (excluding points)
  19.            whose projections define a closed region in the
  20.            current view. Islands are permitted inside of
  21.            the selected outer perimeter.
