  1. DIST (distance) allows you to calculate the actual and
  2. projected distance between two positions, a position and a
  3. geometric entity, or two geometric entities.

  5. Identify the type of distance verification by choosing 
  6. from the following menu:

  8. 2 POS   - to calculate the minimum distance between two 
  9.           positions on the screen.
  10.  
  11. POS+ENT - to calculate the minimum distance between a 
  12.           position and a selected geometric entity.
  13.  
  14. 2 ENTS  - to calculate the minimum distance between two
  15.           selected geometric entities. Select the first 
  16.           curve entity by positioning the cursor and 
  17.           pressing the space bar or cursor button. 
  18.           Select the second curve in the same manner.
