- OUTPUT allows you to write entities, remarks, and the
- system group table to a CADL file. Attributes, such as
- color, line type, line width, text font, and level number,
- are transferred to the ASCII file along with selected
- entity types.
-
- Enter a filename for the CADL file. If you do not specify
- a drive or a pathname, the file is output to the default
- CADL directory. To identify the file as an ASCII version
- of a CADL file, the system automatically adds the
- extension .cdl.
-
- Choose one of the following output options:
-
- SELECT - to select the entities that you want to output to
- the CADL file.
-
- LEVEL - to output all the entities from a designated level
- to the CADL file.
-
- ALL ENT - to automatically selects all points, notes,
- curves, polygons, and polylines in the current database
- and outputs them to the CADL file.
-
- POSITN - to write a special remark primitive (REM
- POSITION) to the CADL file, based on the option selected.
-
- REMARK - allows you to enter one or more text strings,
- which are written to the CADL file as remarks (REM).
-
- GRP TBL - to output the system group table to the CADL
- file in the form of group primitives. If any associated
- text data is found in the GRP.TXT file, it is dumped after
- the group primitive record, in the form of REM GRP
- records.
-
- SYS PAR - to dump a part header to the currently open CADL
- file. The CADL header is a combination of the statements
- that describe the current system parameters for the part.
-
- SET OPT - to set output options when dumping a CADL file.
- To achieve the desired results, options must be chosen
- before outputting the entities that they affect.
-
- DONE - to exit or close the CADL option menu. Choose this
- option when all entries to the CADL file are complete. The
- file is closed and you are returned to the CADL menu.
