- BLANK lets you blank, or hide, instance-specific entities
- in a drawing instance. Blanking lets you mask entities
- individually, not just by level. If you use BLANK, don't
- worry, you aren't really deleting or erasing the entity,
- CADKEY just blocks the entity from view.
-
- The active instance is surrounded by a dashed
- highlighted box.
-
- Use an option from the Selection Menu to choose the
- entities that you want to blank. Press <Enter> when you
- finish choosing entities to blank.
-
- The entities you select disappear from the active drawing
- instance only.
-
- If some of the entities are difficult to select in your
- active instance, you can select them from other instances
- where they're easier to reach. However, remember that
- BLANK makes the entities disappear from the active
- instance only; you're using the entities in the other
- instances as references and they are not affected.
-
- To redisplay something that you've blanked,
- you use UNBLANK.
-
- Blanking is for instance-specific entities only. You can
- delete layout-specific entities using CADKEY's DELETE
- option or (Ctrl)-(Q).
-
- Press (F10) to return to the MODIFY menu.
