  1. 3 PTS lets you dimension the angle between two points and
  2. a vertex that you specify.
  3.  
  4. Choose an option from the Position Menu to select the
  5. vertex of the angle you want to dimension.
  6.  
  7. The vertex and the endpoints do not have to lie in
  8. the same plane.
  9.  
  10. Indicate the first and second endpoints of the angle to
  11. dimension using options from the Position Menu.
  12.  
  13. The three points that you select define two intersecting
  14. reference lines and four angles for dimensioning. To make
  15. it easier to identify the angle you want to dimension,
  16. CADKEY draws temporary dashed that extend to the limits
  17. of the screen along the reference lines.

  19. Cursor select a position somewhere inside the angle you
  20. want to dimension.

  22. CADKEY prompts you to indicate which angle you want to
  23. measure, INNER or OUTER. If you choose INNER, CADKEY
  24. dimensions the inner angle; if you choose OUTER, CADKEY
  25. dimensions the outer angle.

  27. Indicate the dimension text position using an option from
  28. the Position Menu.

  30. CADKEY draws the dimension, arrows, and leader lines 
  31. according to the current settings in DETAIL, SET. If you 
  32. make a mistake, choose UNDO in the Break Area or press 
  33. (Alt)-(I). CADKEY deletes the dimension and leader lines
  34. and you can indicate another dimension text position.

  36. CADKEY displays temporary lines for 3PTS. When you redraw,
  37. the temporary lines disappear, but the dimension remains.
