- OUTLINE allows you to create an unfilled polygon using the
- current color and line parameters.
-
- Locate the start position of the polygon using a Position
- Menu option. Keep in mind that the start point of the
- polygon cannot be used as a reference position. If you
- choose the CURSOR option, rubberbanding takes effect
- and the first line of the string is attached to the
- cursor.
-
- Indicate the next vertex of the polygon. This defines the
- first side of the polygon. Indicate up to eight vertices.
-
- When the desired number of sides have been created,
- indicate an end position to close the polygon, using the
- Position Menu, or by pressing <Enter>.
-
- If more than eight sides are created, or if <Enter> is
- pressed to indicate the end position, the endpoint is
- automatically positioned at the start point of the
- polygon, and the polygon is closed.
-
- In 2-D construction mode, the reference points are
- projected to the current construction plane, and the
- polygon is created in the construction plane.
-
- In 3-D construction mode, the vertices of the polygon are
- located by the 3-D coordinates of the indicated reference
- points.
