  1. ELLIPSE allows you to create an elliptical arc by defining
  2. the length and orientation of the major and minor axes, 
  3. and the start, end, and center points of the entity.
  4.  
  5. Define the length of the semi-major axis. Enter a value 
  6. for the length of the semi-major axis and press <Enter>, 
  7. or accept the default value by pressing <Enter>.
  8.  
  9. Define the length of the semi-minor axis.
  10.  
  11. Enter a value for the length of the semi-minor axis and
  12. press <Enter>, or accept the default value by pressing
  13. <Enter>.

  15. Enter a value for the desired angle between the major axis
  16. and the construction view x axis and press <Enter>, or
  17. accept the default value by pressing <Enter>.
  18.  
  19. Enter a start angle for the ellipse. 
  20.  
  21. Define the desired start point by entering a value for the
  22. start angle and pressing <Enter>, or accept the default
  23. value by pressing <Enter>.

  25. You are prompted to enter an end angle for the ellipse.
  26.  
  27. Define the desired end point by entering a value for the 
  28. end angle and pressing <Enter>, or accept the default 
  29. value by pressing <Enter>.

  31. Indicate a position for the center of the ellipse, using a
  32. Position Menu option.
  33.  
  34. The center is projected to the current construction plane,
  35. and the elliptical arc is created in the current
  36. construction view, at the current depth. If the start and
  37. end angles are the same, the entire ellipse is created.
  38.  
  39. To create another elliptical arc with the same
  40. specifications (i.e., major and minor axis lengths, start
  41. and end angles), indicate another center position.
